Champion Fasteners arc stud length designations are BEFORE WELD; AFTER WELD lengths are as follows:

Stud diameters 3/16" thru 1/2" approx. reduction 1/8", Diameters 5/8" thru 7/8" approx. reduction 3/16", Diameters 7/8" and over approx. reduction 1/4"

Metric stud diameters 4 to 12mm approx. reduction 3mm, Diameters 16 to 22mm approx. reduction 5mm, Diameters 22mm and over approx. reduction 6mm
